What exactly does MING Network Spy do when installed on a PC connected to a LAN?
MSN Network Spy using NIS enables the network card's promiscuous mode and captures network traffic on the local LAN segment. Then it filters Ethernet packets
and parses them to reconstruct instant message (AOL,
MSN, Yahoo, ICQ), email, http sessions. After that MING Network Spy
can log
instant messages, mails and so on.
What is the impact on my network?
As a passive listener, there is little impact on the network, or on the time to deliver the messages to the recipient.
But Network Spy uses ARP poisoning technology (this is
different from Network Monitor), it will change network
traffic of the computers being monitored.
What is the difference between the trial version and the licensed version?
The major difference is
that the trial version is limited to 10 PCs, and will expire and cease to function
10 days after
installation. The trial version displays only first 10 messages of
each conversation.
Why I capture noting?
When you start to capture messages, you must select an adapter for capture packet. Your can try every adapter, until find
today's packets number go up in the state bar if any people using
instant messenger in time.
How are the records stored?
All records are stored in a local database (included). You can analyze the data based on the participants, time or date, or you can scan the conversations for keywords.
No adapter can be finding in the software, how can I do?

What difference between MING Chat Spy and MING Network Spy?
MING Network Spy is based on MING Chat Spy,
and has more features: email monitoring, website
monitoring and so on. Actually, chat monitoring feature
is the same.
Does MING Network Spy contain any advertising
or spyware?
No.
Does MING Network Spy Webmail (i.e. hotmail)?
No, It can only monitor SMTP/POP3 mails in this
version.
I just want to monitor 10 PCs, but there are about 30 PCs in our LAN. How many users should I purchase?
The program allows the administrator to select
users to monitor now. But you only can select maximum 10
PCs.
Why it can not display QQ messages?
Yes, it can not capture QQ's message now. Because QQ's messages is encrypted.
I have purchase the license, how to register
my software?

and input the serial number.
